Press Pillay names The Unmentionables latest Pillanthropy recipient

The give-back agency’s pro-bono initiative takes on a new charity

Press Pillay, Toronto’s leading give-back agency, welcomes The Unmentionables as the latest addition to their Pillanthropy program.

Pillanthropy— a pun on philanthropy— is an initiative by Press Pillay designed to help nonprofits and charitable organizations with pro-bono PR and marketing services. The now-competitive program runs for six months on an application basis to support the agency’s give-back mission.

The recipient, The Unmentionables, is a not-for-profit organization focused on giving displaced people sex education and access to reproductive health products.

“Our goal is to ensure all forcibly displaced people have access to science-based sexual and reproductive health information and support by 2030,” says Genevieve Westrope, Global Programs Director. “We’re very excited to partner with Press Pillay to make this happen.”

“Pillanthropy is our way of making marketing matter,” said agency founder Nesh Pillay. “I couldn’t think of a better choice, paving the way for women across the globe.”
